Boise Police looking to recover stolen, sold construction equipment

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise Police detectives are looking to recover stolen and sold construction equipment.
The Department asked for the public's help Thursday in tracking down several pieces of stolen equipment after identifying a suspect in multiple thefts.
BPD says Derek Johanson is accused of stealing and selling equipment that includes mini-excavators, skid steers, and scissor lifts. The thefts happened in Boise and throughout northern parts of Utah.
"We are looking for anyone who may have purchased equipment from Johanson recently," BPD said. "Johanson uses many aliases including Derek Johnson, Grayson, Gray, and Derek Johnnson."
